Stud station
Stud Jespers is a certified stud station with a wide range of jumping and dressage stallions of all European studbooks.
At our stud station we can give you advice and experienced veterinarians are available to assist your (problem) mare.
In our laboratory we have daily fresh semen available from our own stallions and fresh cooled semen is available from a large number of stallions from Belgium, Netherlands and Germany. Through our close collaboration with VDL Stud and export of frozen semen, we can also offer semen of stallions outside Europe.
The gynecological supervision of mares is done by Drs. Liesbeth de Kroon www.paardenpraktijkdekroon.nl. You can contact us for insemination with cooled and frozen semen. Insemination can take place in the usual way or deep intrauterine.
Besides artificial insemination you can also contact us for embryo transfer. This technique is mainly used by sports mares, of which the owner would like to have several foals per year, or which are not able to accomplish themselves a period of 11 months. If you decide to use embryo transfer it will eventually be applied by Drs. G. Wauters. The owner can bring the surrogate mare or the embryo will be sent to www.keros.be.
